Thanks for all of your support!

Hi! My name is Aleksandra, my campaign for USD 231 Board of Education in our community is in full swing. As a dedicated parent and advocate for quality education, I believe that I can make a positive impact on our school system and help ensure that every student has access to the resources and support they need to succeed.
I look forward to earning your support and working together to build a brighter future for our children and our community.

I have lived in Johnson County for most of my life and have been a proud resident of Gardner for over 20 years. I am married and have two children who have gained their education in the school district. Throughout their academic journey, I have remained actively involved in their learning experience. I have had the pleasure of supporting and participating in the Special Education Department's Gifted program for several years.

My professional background includes leadership and management roles in the technology industry as well as entrepreneurship. Presently, I run my own videography and photography business and serve as a board member with the Gardner KS Pride organization. When I'm not busy with work, I indulge in my hobbies of cooking, gardening, reading, and DIY projects. With proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese, I take pride in my diverse heritage and travel experiences.

As a candidate for the USD231 Board of Education, I am fully committed to using my experience and passion to make a positive impact in our community.

My Vision for Our Community

As a candidate for the Board of Education in our community, my top priority is to ensure that our schools are safe, inclusive, and welcoming for all students. I believe that by partnering with parents, educators, and community leaders, we can create a school system that meets the needs of every child and prepares them for a bright future.

My vision for the school board is centered around creating a student-centered, data-driven school system that provides every student with an equitable opportunity to achieve academic success. I believe in creating policies and programs that focus on individual student needs, while also promoting a culture of continuous improvement and creativity.

I am committed to a strong partnership with our educators and creating a school system that values their expertise, experience, and dedication. I believe that by working collaboratively with teachers and staff, we can improve student outcomes and create a positive and rewarding work environment for all educators.
